The perfect bike is the one you love riding!
Although the Madness has a mountain bike route, there are no excessive technical difficulties and tarmac roads are around 40%. Riding an MTB or a gravel/monster bike with chucky tires will allow you to enjoy it fully!
You can ride the Madness SOLO or in PAIRS. Rules apply to both categories, but consider pairs as a whole. Members of pairs can share food, equipment, drafting…
Both members of a pair must register for the race and will have a personal tracker.
This is, by all means, an unsupported race. You’ll therefore need to arrange your stays before, during, and after the race. In the Road Book, we’ll provide some general information to help you organize your stay before the start and at the finish line.
MMM starts in Podgorica, Montenegro. Podgorica and Tivat are the nearest airports. It’s possible to book an airport pick-up with GoOpti (www.goopti.com).
Tivat is connected to Podgorica by bus and taxi.

We’ll organize a bus to take back both riders and bikes from Risan (finish line) to Podgorica (start). The bus will leave on May 7th at 10:00 CEST and the individual price will likely be around 60€.
If you want to plan your way back independently, booking a taxi is the easiest option!
MMM commits to refunding 80% of the entry fee if the rider withdraws the registration before January 1st, 2026. If the Rider withdraws the registration after January 1st, 2026, and cannot provide a replacement, MMM will not be able to refund the entry fee.
Please note that after the official race GPX & Manual have been recieved, riders withdrawing before January 1st, 2026, will be eligible only for a 50% refund of the entry fee.
The mandatory documentation must be handed in before the start of the race, while a copy of the ID/Passport must be provided before April 30th.

We provide the transfer of a small bag to the finish line (ideally, we’ll ask you to fill the welcome pack bag maximum). All other luggage or bike bags will be stored at the start line.
